About Sahara Sands Hotel
A simple, family-run hotel beside the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga.
Sahara Sands is a comfortable base for exploring Merzouga and the surrounding desert. Stay just steps from the Erg Chebbi dunes and arrange camel rides, quad tours, 4×4 excursions and desert camps directly with us.
Check-in
Check-in is available from 16:00 to 19:00. If you expect to arrive later, contact us in advance on WhatsApp.
Self check-in
When arranged, your key can be left in a labelled envelope at reception. We will send the details before arrival.
Breakfast
Breakfast is available on request for 55 MAD per person. Please order it in advance and confirm your preferred time.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available in the lounge and around the patio. Coverage inside some rooms may be weaker.
Parking
Free parking is available at the hotel.
Dunes
The Erg Chebbi dunes begin directly behind the hotel. You can reach the sand in about 30 seconds.
Hot water
Hot water is supplied by the solar system and an additional boiler. In a desert property, temperature and pressure can vary.
Transfers
Private transfer from Errachidia Airport starts from 700 MAD. Send your flight number and arrival time. Transfers from Marrakech or Fes are quoted individually.
